Carry forward previous period draws from the institution's most recent earlier report of the same type. It only works on an empty report.
What comes across differs by design:
- Finansinspektionen forms — the answers carry over. These forms consist largely of qualitative answers about procedures and responsibilities, which tend to hold between periods. Always read them through before submitting; they are a starting point, not a final answer.
- EBA reports — only the rows in registers, never amounts. Figures belong to their period, and pre-filling last quarter's capital amounts would be dangerous.
- PSD2MI — nothing carries over. One report corresponds to one incident, so the previous report describes a different event.
