What is Sigill?

Sigill is a service for regulatory reporting. You complete your returns in the web portal, have them checked against the regulator's own rules, and download a finished file to file with the authority. Sigill currently supports eight report types in two families: - EBA reports ΓÇö COREP (capital adequacy), PSD FRP (payment services), SEPA IPR (instant payments) and DORA (register of ICT contracts). The output is an xBRL-CSV report package. - Finansinspektionen forms ΓÇö BETESA, RBETSA, AML and PSD2MI (incident reporting). The output is JSON in FI's FIDAC format. Which report types your organisation can create depends on the institution type you are registered as. More are added continuously. We extend coverage as we onboard new categories of institution, so a return that is not listed today may well be supported by the time you need it. If you need one that is missing, tell us ΓÇö customer demand is what decides the order we build them in.

Does Sigill file the report for me?

No. Sigill produces the file ΓÇö you file it yourself with Finansinspektionen or the EBA, exactly as you do today. This matters because the button is called Submit: in Sigill, submitting means the report is sealed here, not transmitted to the authority. The intended flow is: 1. Complete the report. 2. Validate it. 3. Generate ΓÇö download the file and file it with the authority. 4. Submit ΓÇö record in Sigill that this has been done. Direct filing to the authority does not exist today.

How do we become a customer?

You cannot sign up yourself: accounts are always created by us, or by an administrator at your organisation. Once the agreement is in place, we need the following to set you up: - The institution's identity ΓÇö an LEI or a Finansinspektionen institution number. At least one is required. Swedish payment institutions usually have an institution number, but not always an LEI. - Institution type ΓÇö Payment institution, Credit institution, Investment firm, E-money institution or Registered payment service provider. This governs which report types you can create. - Country and reporting currency, for example SE and SEK. - Who will be your first administrator. We then create your organisation and one administrator account. Your administrator invites everyone else.

What happens the first time I sign in?

You receive a temporary password from us, sent through a different channel than the email containing the link. At first sign-in you must: 1. Change your password ΓÇö the temporary one cannot be kept. 2. Set up two-factor authentication using an authenticator app. 3. Confirm your email address through the link sent to you. All three steps are mandatory and cannot be skipped.
